Masterful guitarist, expressive singer and seasoned song writer, known for crafting songs that reflect real life with depth warmth and a touch of wit. His signature guitar style blends the storytelling of country the raw emotion of the blues and the driving energy of rock

 Best known as the guitarist for “the reclines” kd langs back up band from 1983-1990 and with Ian Tysons acoustic trio from 1998 -2008.He appeared on most of the recordings made by these artists in these periods notably kd langs “Absolute Torch and Twang and Tysons “Live at Longview”.

  A natural collaborator Gord thrives in musical partnerships, bringing out the best in those around him. Whether  writing thoughtful lyrics or delivering smooth harmonies he brings heart humour and unmatched musicianship to every stage.

   Firmly entrenched in the Edmonton scene since moving ( home) in 1997 Gord was recently inducted into the Edmonton Blues Hall of Fame for his work with the “Front Porch Roots Revue”
